  • Russell McVeagh, Vero Centre, Level 30, 48 Shortland Street, Auckland 1010

Registration

The Women's Infrastructure Network, together with our hosts Russell McVeagh, are delighted to invite you to our final, and very special WIN event in Auckland for this year, where we will showcase two award winning women, both making a significant difference to the lives of Aucklanders.

Join us to hear Sarah Sinclair, Chief Engineer, Auckland Council and Auckland's Emergency Management Acting Director talk about her role during the recent SkyCity Convention Centre fire, and the challenges the city faced during this unprecedented disaster. We are also privileged to be joined by Jackie Clark, QSM and 2018 Supreme Award Winner of the Women in Influence Award and The Aunty in Charge of the Aunties Charitable Trust. Jackie will share, in her charismatic, no holds barred manner, the work the Aunties do to support women and children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse, and how we can all help.

Programme
Please join us at 7.30am to enjoy breakfast kindly provided by our hosts Russell McVeagh, before we hear from Sarah and Jackie at 8am.

Entry
The Aunties have shared with us that at this time of the year, petrol vouchers are a great help. Here are the ways you can help the Aunties. For this event, in the spirit of Christmas, the WIN network will be supporting the Aunties through charging an entry fee to the breakfast, which will be converted into petrol vouchers.

If You Can't Attend this WIN Event
For WIN members who are unable to attend this WIN Christmas breakfast event, may we suggest you consider contributing to the Aunties givealittle page here as part of your Christmas giving. These funds will help the Aunties provide Christmas joy to women and children surviving family violence. In the words of the Aunties: 'thank you for your generosity of spirit, your compassion and your love'.
